황진이- Hwang Jin Yi Press Confrence

Song Hye-kyo’s movie 황진이 (Hwang Jin Yi) opened at the 2pm (local time) on 23rd in Seoul Chongno Seoul theater.

황진이 took 4 years in production duration with a total production cost 10,000,000,000 won. The story is taking place in 16th century and made based on an original work of a North Korean novelist, thus the story and the characters are same as for the novel.

You guys know by now that I am a fashion freak … and this girl does all on her power to go on my nerves … she keeps on wearing that skirt .. and this time forgot to pull it up right … notice the lonely piece hanging down on the left side !!! and that hair … couldn’t they do something to her bangs? That doesn’t go with her dress at all … if we had a bad fashion contest for press conference outfits .. with what we saw, I tell you she would be totally nominated!

Looking back at the pics .. saw that poster … i much prefer she walking down there with the hair and make up and that .. what do u call it .. is that hanbok too?

Song Hye-kyo in ‘Dream Team’ Shoot for Vogue Cover

The star of the movie “Hwangjini” Song Hye-kyo, was selected as the cover model of fashion magazine Vogue Korea, the first Korean actress to achieve the distinction.
Song is in a Korean traditional outfit designed by Jung Ku-ho, who was in charge of the wardrobe for the movie “Hwangjini.” The shoot was in Paris with the Italian photographer Paolo Roversi. Leading hair stylist Julien d’Ys and makeup artist Stephane Marais did Song’s hair and makeup. A Vogue Korea staffer who helped prepare the shoot for over six months said, “The work was done by a dream team that has great influence on fashion in the world, and not even Vogue France would have been able to gather them. It has great significance that the dream team gathered for the Korean actress Song Hye-kyo, and the photos show her in hanbok.”

During a concept meeting, Song was asked about “Hwangjini” and told Roversi and other staff about the famous gisaeng or female entertainer the movie focuses on. They had understood the gisaeng to be similar to Japanese geisha. After the shoot, Roversi said Hwangjini must have been “a woman like Camille Claudel or Virginia Woolf.” Responding to praise in the French press, Song said, “It may be because a Korean actress wore Korean traditional outfits instead of a dress. That’s why I felt more responsible and was nervous during the whole shoot.”

The pictures can be seen on 18 pages of Vogue Korea published on Sunday. A video diary of the shoot will be broadcast on the Olive Channel. Meanwhile, “Hwangjini” goes on release on June 6.

Song Hye-Kyo: “My ideal man is someone who is sentimental like a father.”

“I don’t consider a man’s appearance to be important anymore.”

Song Hye-Kyo, who will turn 26 years old this year, is currently single and not dating anyone. When asked about her ideal man, she revealed, “Someone who is sentimental like a father.”

When she was younger, she admitted that “Personality was important, and I also did look at outward appearances.” But now that she’s past the mid-point of her 20s, her thoughts have changed a lot. As her popularity increased and so did her stress levels, and whenever she felt the pressure of being the head of a household, she has begun to crave having someone near to lean on.

Nowadays, rather than spending time with her peers, SHK spends more time with her elders, like Choi Ji-Woo and Lee Mi-Yun. “They really treat me like family and whenever things get difficult, they are always there with a hug, and they also give me a lot of professional advice.” Whether it’s from their influence, SHK added that “I want to hurry up and turn 30 so I can establish my look as an actress.”
