We have had several requests on the latest ofKim Jong Kook (김종국) over the last couple days … the requests was so sudden that made me really curious of the reason too …. But since this is the first time we mention him on this site .. i will give some background info to have everyone with us in the same page ^^ So let’s start with his Wikipedia ^^
Kim Jong Kook (김종국) (born on April 25, 1977) is a South Korean singer. He first entered the Korean music industry in 1995 as a member of the group Turbo, which became fairly popular for their catchy music. After the group dissolved a few years later, he became a solo singer in 2001, mostly concentrating on ballads. Although his unusually high tone of his voice is often criticized and joked about (with many stars jokingly calling it a “mosquito voice”), he has had many hit singles and has also been a frequent guest on many variety shows, most notably X-Man. In addition, his body is often considered one of the best in K-Pop, due to all his muscle training.
This guy had the most scandal with Yoon Eun Hye during his Xman show (prior to Yoon Eun Hye’s Goong Drama) …
Their scandal “love story” by press gave people a good reason to scratch their heads and come up with the most bizzarest analysis to reach the conclusion that they in fact are dating in real life ~
In order to fulfill his duty to perform two years of mandatory service, Kim entered the military in 2006. However, he is still involved in the music business, releasing a fourth album in early 2006. Unable to directly promote it while in the military, he has taken to using unorthodox methods in order to do so. In order to comply with Korean law, the music video was shot so that his face would never be seen on screen. Also, in order to raise awareness, Kim’s rumoured girlfriend Yoon Eun Hye was asked to star in the music video. Though there has been no direct promotion, his latest album has sold in excess of 100,000 copies.

The possibility for Goong 2 with the original cast is pretty much ZERO. Yoon Eun Hye and Kim Jung Hoon dont want to renew their contract with Eight Peaks (their Goong production and management company).
“Yoon Eun Hye stated that after the back and forth situation with the company, Eight Peaks broke a trust agreement. Therefore the possibility of her collaborating with them again is unlikely.” Eight Peaks and Yoon Eun Hye have an exclusive three years contract which was signed during the second half of 2005. Which leaves her with another year in her contract with the company.
The official stated, “The trouble between Eun Hye and Eight Peaks started back in January. Despite completing the script reading for appearance on MBC’s Que Sera, Sera, Eun Hye’s management cancelled Eun Hye’s participation in Que Sera Sera and demanded she appeared in a drama that Eight Peaks was producing themselves, causing Eun Hye to be hospitalized due to mental shock.
“Currently she is in the process of filming Coffee Prince and rebelling against her company’s wants.” Her company didn’t want her to do the Vineyard Man either. Kim Jung Hoon is also leaving Eight Peaks, citing the same reason. The company broke his trust.
